Meet the Bargaining Team

Wren Edwards

I’m Wren Edwards (she/her), a postdoctoral scholar – teaching fellow in Integrative Anatomical Sciences. I’m a field biologist and anthropologist studying behavior and spatial ecology of wild chimpanzees in anthropogenically-influenced environments. My teaching efforts focus on human anatomy in the Keck School of Medicine. In my free time I enjoy playing music, knitting, and hiking.

Dani Cotton

I’m Dani (she/ her) and I’m a postdoc in Chemistry. I make and study molecules that can capture carbon dioxide in the dark and release it when placed in the sun. In my free time, I enjoy trashy and classy fiction, wandering the Los Angeles streets, and hoping that I’ll get back into running some day.

Rushil Zutshi

I’m Rushil (he/him). I’m an international postdoctoral scholar at the Price School of Public Policy. My research looks at the impact of Medicare Advantage on quality of care and care networks for beneficiaries with Dementia. Outside of work, I enjoy running, backpacking, photography, and acting.

Steve Pilley

Hi! I’m Steve, a postdoc from the UK in the Molecular Microbiology and Immunology department at the Keck School of Medicine. I study how aging affects metabolism and cancer development. When I’m not in the lab, you will most likely find me chasing a football (soccer ball) around various pitches across LA.

Salem Elzway

I’m a postdoctoral fellow at USC’s Society of Fellows in the Humanities and based in the History department. My research explores the intersections of labor and race, political economy, security policy, and Science, Technology, and Society (STS). I’m currently working on the first scholarly history of the industrial robot which will chart the political and socioeconomic evolution of artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and industrial policy in the United States during and after the Cold War. The perfect day: hiking in the morning, beach and a book in the afternoon, kickin’ it with the comrades in the evening. LFG!
